East Day Battery Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of East Day Smart Energy Co., Ltd. (简称"East Day", stock code: 600869), is dedicated to the R&D, production, sales and services of lithium-ion batteries, power battery packs, energy storage battery packs, and new-generation batteries. In 2015, East Day fully acquired Jiangxi Fos 特斯尔, renamed it Jiangxi East Day Battery, rapidly entering the new energy vehicle industry chain and laying the foundation for energy storage business. In 2018, East Day established its Jiangsu base, expanding into soft-pack battery business, which together with Jiangxi East Day Battery formed the East Day Battery Group. In 2015, East Day Battery ranked first in national cylindrical battery shipments.
