Alpha Wire

Alpha Wire was established in New York City in 1922, initially as a supplier of wire reinforcement for the flour industry (women's hats). Throughout the 1930s, it grew into an important supplier to the rapidly expanding radio industry by producing antenna wire and insulators. In the following decades, the demand for electronic products during World War II and the advent of television propelled the growth of this business.
