RECOM Group has constructed a campus-like headquarters on the Traunsee in Gmunden, Austria, covering a total area of 3,000 square meters, dedicated entirely to power development. In addition to a modern logistics center and new management facilities, RECOM focuses on the most advanced EMC laboratory to expand R&D, testing, research, and quality assurance. This will significantly enhance the company's high-frequency range capabilities to serve Austria and southern Germany. The 3-meter semi-anechoic chamber (3m-SAC) provided by Rohde & Schwarz enables frequency range measurements from 30MHz to 3GHz, fully compliant with CISPR 22 standards. This SAC is equipped with an automatic measurement process for samples up to one meter in diameter, and a calculator-controlled turntable with near-field probes can automatically determine the key interference sources for each sample. In addition, the laboratory meets the measurement specifications of EN 61000-4-x and EN 61000-3-2, particularly the latter plays a crucial role in LED drivers. The internal GTEM chamber can check the behavior of samples against radiation interference. RECOM has also set up additional rooms and three apartments for students and researchers within the RECOM campus to promote close cooperation with universities and other advanced academic institutions. RECOM customers and partners can also test their own prototypes in the RECOM's high-end equipped laboratory. RECOM collaborates closely with other companies in the power industry to develop innovative, long-term power clusters across Munich, Linz, and Graz.
